Join Me in the Fight Against Breast Cancer
I was diagnosed with breast cancer on Jaunary 25th 2017 at the age of 37. After a lump was discovered at my annual checkup I had a mammagram, ultraound and biopsies that confirmed I had Stage II invasive ductal carcinoma. It is aggressive so chemo then surgery is the plan of attack. Because of my young age my oncologist recommended a dose dense chemo regimen every 2 weeks for 8 rounds called ACT. I will then follow up with surgery and reconstruction. I am so thankful for my team of doctors and the fast track they have put me on. I had a scan half way through chemo and my tumor is nearly gone. I am also thankful for my family and friends and the continued support they have given me through all my treatments. I'm running this race with my FIT4MOM family who has overwhelmed me with support as well. But my husband and my kids are what keep me going everyday. Joe is my biggest cheerleader and my rock and I couldn't have gotten through any of this without him. Thanks for reading my story and supporting me. This disease is on the rise affecting 1 in 8 women and needs to stopped! Natalie
