I miss my mom!
Breast Cancer runs in my family. Those aren't words I like to say. This year will mark the 15 year anniversary of my mom losing her battle to metastatic breast cancer. A few years before that, we lost her sister Inge. The year I was born my grandmother lost her battle. That was 50 years ago.
Throughout my life I have come across so many women that have been effected by this disease. They are my family, my friends, my coworkers, my neighbors and the women I worship with at church. Some have fought the fight and are still here with us. Some struggle daily to survive. Some have lost their battle and physically are no longer with us. These women will remain forever in my heart.
I want to fight for my mom. I want to fight for my friends and neighbors. I want to fight for the women who have to choose getting treatments over paying bills and taking care of their family. No women should have to choose something like that!
I need your help. I am asking that you donate at least $25 dollars to help. If you can’t afford that, any dollar amount will help! Every dollar will go to help women (and men) in your community. These are your neighbors and friends.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for any donation you can make. I can't do this without you!
