What's New at the 25th Anniversary Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure

Exciting changes are in store at the 25th anniversary Susan G. Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure!

A Celebration of 25 Years in the Making

This year’s event will focus on our signature Race for the Cure 5K walk/run as we celebrate 25 years and demonstrate the collective power of what it means to be More Than Pink. We invite you and your team to participate in the 5K walk/run scheduled to begin at 8:30 am.

Note: Participants may run the Race route; however, a timed option will not be offered and timing chips are not available.

More Than Pink March

As we celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Komen Puget Sound Race for the Cure and beyond, the Survivor Parade is transitioning into the More Than Pink March! During the march, breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer are invited to be recognized and honored during a special portion of the Race day program.

The March will kick-off our Race day program. Survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer are invited to begin gathering at 7:45 am near the southeast corner of the International Fountain near Hope Village. The More Than Pink March will begin promptly at 8:00 am.

Hope Village

The Survivor Celebration Tent is now Hope Village! Exclusively for breast cancer survivors and those living with metastatic breast cancer, Hope Village is designed to help build community among those who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Enjoy a delicious breakfast, play carnival games, get pampered and share your experiences with others like you.

Hope Village will be open from 6:00 am through noon on Race day and will be located at the southeast corner of the International Fountain.

Team Categories

We’ve simplified our teams structure and now have two team categories: Friends & Family or Corporate. Simply select the team category that most accurately represents your team during registration--it’s that easy!
